The first section contains basic standards, such as DIN ISO 8992:2005-09 on general requirements for bolts, screws, studs and nuts, and DIN 918 Supplement 3, which contains an overview of European Standards. Other sections deal with hexagon nuts, square nuts, castle nuts, cap nuts, prevailing torque type nuts, weld nuts, knurled nuts and miscellaneous nuts. The Handbook forms part of a series of 6 compilations in English dealing with fasteners.
